Adding a 12V Refrigerator to a T@G Teardrop Kitchen

My 2022 Nucamp T@G teardrop camper originally came with a Yeti cooler, and no slide-out. I quickly realized it would have been impossible for me to take out the heavy cooler when it was full of ice and food. I had my brother in law build me a slide out shelf for the clamshell kitchen, and this little ICECO GO12 12v Refrigerator fit perfectly.

I have since upgraded to the larger ICECO GO20 refrigerator, that version has the ability to have a freezer section and a refrigerator section and gives you a little more storage. The GO12 only had one compartment -you can either use it as a freezer or a refrigerator – but not both at the same time.

Adding a 12V Refrigerator to my Teardrop Kitchen was one of the best mods I have made to my teardrop camper!

I purchased heavy duty 20″locking sliders from Amazon and my brother in law had a scrap piece of wood in his workshop and voila! When adding these sliders, first make sure the trailer is level, and then the sliders must also be level.

I chose not to drill though the counter to run the cord to the 12 v plug, rather I just plug it into the 12v and drape it over the counter. It would not be that difficult to drill a hole to run the plug through. The ICECO GO20 can also be plugged into the 110V ac plug when the camper is plugged into shore power. My camper has built in solar panels and this combo works great even when running on solar and the battery.
